South West Business Finance is a partnership of agencies in the South West of England who are working together to provide access to finance for businesses across the region.
Our aim is to help the local economy, where we will complement rather than compete with the banks. As our emphasis is on potential rather than collateral or track record, we can often finance projects where bank support is limited.

The partner agencies are all Community Development Finance Institutions (CDFIs). CFDIs are independent financial institutions that provide finance and support to help individuals and organisations develop and create wealth in disadvantaged communities or under-served markets.
The CDFIs are all members of the trade body Community Development Finance Association (cdfa).
The South West CDFI group is also collectively supported by the South West of England Regional Development Agency.
